White Card Course & Training in Liverpool NSW
White card course (also known as general construction induction training, construction white card, or GIT card) is the mandatory work health and safety training required prior to undertaking construction work.
Origin Institute is fully accredited by SafeWork NSW for face-to-face general construction white card training programs.
NSW General Construction Induction White Card is nationally accredited. Once completed, you can use it anywhere in Australia.
We usually run White Card class every week in Liverpool.
White Card Training Duration:
7 Hours
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment):
Students will use Origin Institute's PPE during the assessment stage. You don't have to bring or purchase your own PPE to attend the class, but you are welcome to bring your own if you want to. The required PPE gear for assessment is a hard hat, earmuffs, safety goggles, and a high-visibility vest.

Complete the enrolment form, EOI preparation and learning competency assessment in OLP,

How to receive your white card:
Complete the White Card course with Origin Institute,
Receive a Statement of Training (SOT) from Origin Institute on the same day of course completion so you can start working,
Receive a formal white card from SafeWork NSW.
International Students:
Origin Institute is a CRICOS provider. Our white card course also accepts international students. You must have a valid visa to enrol in this course.
Entry Requirements
Evidence of Identify (EOI) Documents:
The applicant is required to show Origin Institute's trainer original EOI documents that add up to at least 100 points. Within these documents the applicant must be able to show:
a photo,
date of birth (minimum age 14 years),
signature,
and current residential address.
SafeWork NSW's EOI Form can assist your EOI documents preparation. You can't attend the construction induction white card training in NSW if you don't show the original 100 points EOI documents to your trainer before commencement of the class.
Following students may eligible for EOI special arrangement, please check the EOI Form for more details of EOI requirements:
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
School sector (minimum age 14 years).
Overseas persons recently arrived in Australia (for less than six weeks).
Origin Institute also provides digital tool in enrolment stage to help you prepare EOI Form and identify documents, which you must bring to the class.
Rights to Study in Australia:
If you are holding an overseas visa, you must be entitled to study or work in Australia under your visa.
English Skill:

What is a White Card?
A White Card is also known as general construction induction training (its former name was Red Card training). It is evidence that you have completed construction safety induction training, a mandatory legal requirement for all persons at a workplace where construction work is performed.
What should I bring to my class?
You need to bring:
Printed EOI Form,
Original ID documents as per the requirements of EOI Form, and
Pen.
Do I need to bring my PPEs?
If you train with Origin Institute, you don’t need to bring your PPEs. Your trainer will have them available for use during the assessment.
How long does it take to get my White Card?
Once you complete our training, we will issue you a Statement of Training (SOT) on the same day. The SOT can be used as an interim White Card until you receive the plastic White Card. Getting your physical white card usually takes around 2-3 weeks.
Can I start working after getting my certificate?
Once you receive the Statement of Training (SOT), you can start working immediately. We usually issue the SOT on the same day that you complete your course.
How long will my White Card be valid for?
The White Card has no expiry date. However, you must attend another White Card training if you have left the industry for over two consecutive years.
Can I use my White Card in other states?
Yes, you can use it anywhere in Australia.
Do you provide White Card training to international students?
Yes, we provide White Card training to international students. We are also a CRICOS provider (ID: 03819K) who provides many other construction courses to international students.
What happens if I lose my White Card?
Please get in touch with SafeWork NSW (13 10 50) to order a new replacement card.
What do I learn from this White Card course?
The construction induction training (white card training) covers essential health and safety knowledge for working in the construction industry. The purpose of the white card training is to ensure that all persons who work in the construction industry have basic occupational health and safety (OHS) knowledge so that the OHS risk in this industry can be reduced dramatically.

What should I complete before class?
All students must complete:
the enrolment form,
preparing Evidence of Identity (EOI) documents in accordance with the EOI Form, and
the Learning Competency Assessment (LCA) before the class.
What is the Learning Competency Assessment (LCA)?
The LCA comprises a suitability assessment, language, literacy and numeracy test, and general instruction of our course. It allows us to identify any support needs the student may have.
Can I use my overseas driver’s licence?
