CPCCWHS2001 White Card Assessor Course

The CPCCWHS2001 unit is a requirement for VET trainers and assessors to be able to train and assess WHS general construction induction white card courses.


It is also suitable for anyone who wants to upgrade their knowledge and skills in workplace health and safety (WHS).


CPCCWHS2001 Training Duration:

  • 3 - 6 hours of online self-paced learning, depending on the learner's experience. 

  • The learner has three (3) months to complete this course from the date of enrolment.

CPCCWHS2001 Enrolment Procedure:

  1. Complete booking online,

  2. Sign up for the Online Learning Platform (OLP) account from the confirmation email,

  3. Complete the enrolment form, ID upload and learning competency assessment in OLP,


How to receive your CPCCWHS2001 statement of attainment:

  1. Complete all required online learning and assessments,

  2. Wait for our marking outcome,

  3. If all assessments are marked as Satisfactory outcomes, we will issue the Statement of Attainment in three (3) business days.


International Students:

Origin Institute is a CRICOS provider. Our CPCCWHS2001 course also accepts international students. You must have a valid visa to enrol in this course. Origin Institute requires all overseas visa holders (except permanent residents who may provide Medicare Cards) to provide a current VEVO Check during the enrolment stage. The VEVO Check must be the original PDF generated from the Department of Home Affairs' system within 2 days of submission.

Valid Photo ID:

You must hold a valid Photo ID (View the list of acceptable photo IDs).

Statement of Attainment and White Card can not be issued if a participant does not provide a valid photo ID. An overseas driver's licence is not acceptable.


Rights to Study in Australia:

  • If you are holding an overseas visa, you must be entitled to study or work in Australia under your visa.

  • All participants will be asked to provide a valid type of residency evidence, such as a VEVO check, passport, Australian government-issued Medicare Card or other document which can prove that you are entitled to work or study in Australia.


English Skill:

Basic understanding of reading, writing and oral English.

What do I need to prepare for this course?

The CPCCWHS2001 unit can be completed through online self-paced learning. However, learners should prepare some learning equipment, such as:


Essential Learning Equipment:

  • Computer or tablet equipped with webcam and microphone,


Essential Items for Practical Assessments Demonstration:

  • Bandage tape or strapping tape,

  • Safety goggles/eye protection - AS1337.1,

  • Hard hat - AS/NZS1801,

  • Earmuff or ear plug - AS/NZS1270,

  • High visibility vest or jumper - AS/NZS4602.1,

  • Extinguisher.

How long does it take to get my certificate?

Once you complete all assessments and get satisfactory marking outcomes, we will issue the digital certificate in 3 business days.

 

How long will my CPCCWHS2001 be valid for?

As the CPCCWHS2001 is nationally recognised training, there is no expiry date.


Do I still need to do White Card training after completing the CPCCWHS2001 unit?

If you need to work in the construction industry, you must complete White Card training separately. A white card can't be issued after completing the CPCCWHS2001 unit.

 

Can I use my CPCCWHS2001 certificate in other states?

Yes, you can use it anywhere in Australia.

 

Do you provide CPCCWHS2001 training to international students?

No, we don’t accept any overseas driver’s licence as a valid form of photo ID.
