White Card Course & Training in Victoria

Origin Institute provides the Victorian construction induction training course, also known as the VIC white card training. It is a mandatory legal requirement for all persons involved in the construction industry.

 

White Card is issued by WorkSafe Victoria upon completion. You can get your VIC white card by completing our 1-day course.

Entry Requirements

Age Requirement

Minimum 18 years of age.

English Skill

Basic understanding of reading, writing and oral English.

Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test is required before commencement.

 

Online Class Requirements

WorkSafe VIC requires student must have a suitable learning environment:

  • Comfortable seat arrangement

  • no trip hazards,

  • proper access and egress,

  • no distracting or disruptive noises, and

  • access to water and refreshments

Have the necessary IT Equipment:

  • Internet connection,

  • a desktop, laptop, iPad or Android tablet equipped with a webcam, speaker and microphone, and

  • The device is suitable to run Google Chrome browser or Microsoft Teams app. Click here to see detailed system requirements.

You have to prepare all PPEs:

If you can't get these PPEs by the course commencement date, we may re-schedule your course to a later one subject to availability.

Application Procedure

Step 1:

Book into one of the available classes and make payment.

Step 2:

Application Form

Complete the online application form immediately after the payment.

Step 3:

Learning Competency Assessment

Complete the test (also known as LLN test), which will be sent to you via email after the application form.

Also remember to prepare your PPEs.

Step 4:

Attend the Class

Attend the class as per the booking. Remember to bring your photo ID and get PPEs ready.
