You must have the following valid ID documents:
Valid photo ID (see list of acceptable photo IDs) and
Valid evidence of residency, such as a VEVO check, passport, Australian government-issued Medicare Card, or other document that proves you are entitled to work or study in Australia.
PPE Requirements for Online Session and Self-Paced Learning:
You must bring the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to your White Card online training (not required for the classroom session):
Hard Hat (Certified to AS/NZS 1801)
Eye Protection (Certified to AS/NZS 1337.1)
Earmuff or Earplug (Certified to AS/NZS 1270)
High Visibility Vest (Certified to AS/NZS 4602)

What is a White Card?
A White Card, also referred to as construction induction training or CIT in Western Australia, serves as proof that you have completed the mandatory safety induction required for anyone working on a construction site. It demonstrates that you understand essential workplace health and safety practices needed to work safely in the construction industry.
Do you offer white card online courses in Western Australia?

Online vs Self-Paced — What’s the Difference?

How long does it take to get my WA White Card?
Origin Institute will issue you a Statement of Attainment (SOA) as temporary proof of completion until your White Card arrives. The SOA remains valid for 60 days, although most physical White Cards are delivered within 30 days. If you do not receive your card within that time, please contact us for assistance.
Can I start working after getting my certificate?
Once you receive your Statement of Attainment (SOA), you can begin working right away. In most cases, Origin Institute issues the SOA on the same day you complete your course.
How long will my WA White Card be valid for?
The White Card has no expiry date. However, you must attend another White Card training if you have left the industry for over two consecutive years.
Can I use my WA White Card in other states?
Yes, you can use it anywhere in Australia.
Do you provide WA White Card training to international students?
Yes, we provide White Card training to international students, as long as you are located in Western Australia. We are also a CRICOS provider (ID: 03819K) who provides many other construction courses to international students.

What is the Learning Competency Assessment (LCA)?
