Today, Origin Institute has established industry connection with Galaxy Home Group.
The Galaxy Home Group is commercial and domestic builder based in Melbourne. They are also a steel frame manufacturer. They have more than 15 years of construction experience covering town planning, land subdivision, demolition, permit application, building and construction.
To ensure all of our students receive the highest standard building and construction training and maintain the most current industry relevance, Origin Institute will work with Galaxy Home Group closely in next 3 weeks to bring another building and construction workshop to all students.

This workshop allows students to get insight of the whole building and construction process. It helps you to link the skill and knowledge learnt from classroom to construction process. It also allows students to get contact with employer.
In this workshop, we will have a registered builder from Galaxy Home Group to talk about the whole construction process. Galaxy Home Group is manufacturer and builder of light gauge steel frame. Topics will cover but not limited to:
Details of whole building and construction process
Advantage and disadvantage of light gauge steel construction
Difference of steel frame and timber frame on construction processes
How will steel frame affect Australian construction industry
