Forklift Trainer and Assessor - TLILIC0003 & TLILIC0004

About the role:

We are looking for Trainer and Assessors to deliver Accredited Forklift High-Risk Training Courses TLILIC0003 – Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck and TLILIC0004 – Licence to Operate an Order Picking Forklift Truck.

• Primary training locations: Clayton, Sunshine North and Clyde North

• Opportunity to also deliver White Card Training (CPCWHS1001) if you hold the appropriate qualification

The position is both practical and compliance-driven, requiring strong industry knowledge, structured training delivery, and accurate assessment practices in line with WorkSafe Victoria requirements.

Duties of the successful applicant include:

• Ensure all training delivered meets the requirements of the Training Package, industry requirements and VET Quality Framework.

• With the support of our foundation skills trainer and managers, assess and address the learning needs of students.

• Complete all required preparation and non-teaching tasks associated with the delivery of training, including all administrative tasks and the provision of reports as requested.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver training and assessment for forklift licence units (TLILIC0003 & TLILIC0004)

• Conduct practical training sessions, including:

  • Pre-start checks

  • Hazard identification

  • Load shifting and safe operation

• Assess students through written, verbal, and practical assessments

• Ensure all training and assessment activities meet WorkSafe Victoria and RTO compliance standards

• Maintain accurate student records and assessment documentation

• Provide clear guidance and support to students throughout the training process

Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold the Competency of the units: TLILIC0003 – Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck and TLILIC0004 – Licence to Operate an Order Picking Forklift Truck.

• Hold Current LF and LO High Risk Work Licences approved by Worksafe VIC

• Hold WorkSafe Victoria Assessor Authorisation

• Minimum 2 years industry experience operating forklifts

Other general requirements:

• Work with Children Check

• Hold White Card (CPCWHS1001 SoA and Plastic Card)

• TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (equivalent or higher) is essential

• Minimum 1 year training or teaching experience is required

• Possession of a current valid Driver's Licence and willingness to drive is required
