Digital Passes for Apple and Android Devices
Origin Institute issues digital passes to our students who complete work licence training with us. It is another innovation to improve our post-service experience.
It means any students who complete our work licence training with Origin Institute on or after 18 Sep 2023 will receive their digital passes, which can be added to Apple Wallet or some Android Wallet App (example App).
Now, we can say goodbye to plastic cards, which may cause inconvenience in case of loss or theft. The digital pass is stored in your phone app. You can always retrieve a new copy from the initial email when you change your phone.
The digital pass is also linked to your full Statement of Attainment by a QR code, so your employer or supervisor can easily inspect your full training credential when required.

From 18 Sep 2023, any students who complete above training will receive new digital pass at around 6 am after training completion. The digital pass may have a different expiry date as per the regulation and industry requirements. Please read the details for each course below.
Add Pass to Apple iOS Device:
Simply click the link in the digital pass email and add it to your Apple Wallet.
Add pass to Android Device:
Download an app (example app) and add the pass to the compatible app from the digital pass email.
Elevating Work Platform (EWP) Ticket Training:
You can use the valid digital pass in your workplace. There is no expiry date as long as the linked statement of attainment is valid.
Traffic Controller Training
You can use the valid digital pass in your workplace. The digital pass will be valid for 3 years. You need to conduct a refresher course at the end of the third year to renew this pass.
Implement Traffic Management Plan Training
You can use the valid digital pass in your workplace. The digital pass will be valid for 3 years. You need to conduct a refresher course at the end of the third year to renew this pass.
Construction Induction White Card Training:
The digital pass will work as an interim white card for up to 60 days. Usually, students will receive formal white cards from WorkSafe Victoria in 2 - 3 weeks after course completion. As the formal white card is issued by WorkSafe Victoria, you shouldn't keep using the digital pass (interim white card) after receiving the formal white card.
