Our CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) is designed to meet the needs of builders. This course covers OHS risk management, project risk and quality management, tender documentation, building codes, construction site supervision, structural principles, cost estimations, contractor administration, contract preparation, and more for both commercial buildings and residential projects up to medium rise.

Possible career pathway including but not limited to building associate, site supervisor, clerk of works and builder.

Course Details

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 18 years of age at time of enrolment*.

  • Have passed the LLN test developed for this course.

DELIVERY METHOD

Face-to-face supplemented by self-paced distance learning. Sessions to be conducted in the Origin Institute Clayton Campus.

Online Virtual Class will replace the face to face session during COVID-19 pandemic.

COURSE DURATION

66 weeks (4 study terms).

The actual duration may vary base on the learner's existing knowledge, skills and experience. This is determined through Origin Institute's pre-enrolment assessment process. 

 

Classes will run 2 nights per week.

FEES

Total fee: $12,990

  • $1500 paid at the application.

  • $10,490 paid by monthly direct debit over 9 months.
